Thanks, Mason. Interesting how two people can photograph the same event, even similar subject matter, and see it differently.
It also depends on what you're going for. Your approach was more as a journalist, recording and reporting on the event and is of great value to the town. I'm exploring and trying not to take pictures that have been taken before. (I'm not sure I always succeed, but part of the joy is the process.)
