Just wondering...for us folks who can't get anywhere near an M8, what would you recommend as the camera that comes closest for digital street shooting? Is there anything out there for less than $500.00? I have a few ideas of my own, but they're mostly just guesses. I'd love to hear what you have to say. Thanks.
Hi, I love your blog. Street photography fascinates me and I think that it is one of the most honest true forms around. Your blog is also very informative, and I will stop by again... Thank you
To the poster who is looking for an affordable alternative to the Leica M8, really any small DSLR with a small lens (such as the Pentax K2000 with the 21mm pancake lens) would be OK. I'm not ready to recommend any of the pocket cameras currently on the market due to image quality or performance issues. I am intrigued and looking forward to the Olympus Micro Four Thirds camera, due this summer. The buzz sounds promising.
